About

Work with Jeff — since 1995

One lawyer. Real estate, estate planning, and probate. Plain language and a next step you can actually use.

Jeffrey Sell

Jeff has practiced in Illinois since 1995. University of Illinois College of Law, J.D. 1994. Bradley University, B.A. 1991.

He set up The Law Offices of Jeffrey Sell so clients in Plainfield and along the Route 59 corridor could stay with the same person from the first contract review to the last recording or court order.

Meetings are in the Plainfield office, by phone, or on Zoom. Chicago appointments when a file needs them — that is not a second office.

Membership only: Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association.

How the work usually starts

A home closing. Then a will or a trust once the deed is recorded. Later, a probate for a parent. Keeping those files with one lawyer is the point — titles and beneficiary designations stay consistent.

Referral work from homeowners, agents, and local union members is most of the docket. There is no rotating associate on your matter.
